Boats and Skippers

The Moyana & Fal River Cornwall

Heritage Adventures has partnered up with local ferry company, Fal River Cornwall, for our Estuary Cruises, which take place on board one of their classic wooden ferry, Moyana, skippered and crewed by knowledge local staff.

Built in north Devon in 1954, Moyana was the first ‘modern’ vessels to join the company’s Enterprise Boats fleet, and immaculately maintained, this luxury boat has been cruising the estuary ever since.

At 60ft long, with ample space for up to 90 passengers, she has twin decks, including a superb top deck viewing area and a beautifully fitted out interior saloon. With a fully stocked bar serving a selection of Cornish tipples, and toilets on board, Moyana is perfect for evening estuary cruises.

Mollie May Charters

Our Sea Quests around Mount’s Bay are provided in partnership with Mollie May Charters, a family business operating out of Porthleven, Newlyn and Penzance, with fully qualified skippers who know the area ‘like the back of their hand’.

The Mollie May fleet consists of two boats – Mollie May PZ44, a licenced commercial fishing boat adapted to also carry passengers, and Mollie May Two, a larger (33ft) and faster, purpose-built charter boat.

Both boats have every safety feature and the latest navigation equipment aboard, to ensure a safe and comfortable trip, and are licensed to carry up to 10 passengers, plus your Heritage Adventures guide and the Skipper.
